- In this study, the hybrid fiber prefabricated parts composed of short AlO and carbon fiber are made successful by vacuum subatmospheric shaping method. The ZLI09 alloy reinforced by the prefabricated AlO and carbon fiber are prepared by squeeze casting method with fiber contents. The effects of carbon fiber on fraction and wear properties of the hybrid composites with fixed AlO fiber volume fraction 10% were investigated.
