With the development of social economy of China, people have higher requirements for medical care, and the prevention and control of chronic diseases have also achieved major strategic achievements under the leadership of the CPC. Most cancer patients will be affected by financial toxicity in the process of treatment and rehabilitation, which harms patients from many aspects such as financial status, psychological impact and quality of life, resulting in decreased quality of life, poorer treatment experience and lower survival rate. At present domestic studies of financial toxicity to cancer patients is still in its infancy and with limited number. This study abides by the health policy of the CPC Central Committee in the new era, adheres to prevention first, attaches importance to public health undertakings, performs health promotion work such as intervention of pre-disease related influencing factors, deepens medical reform, accelerates the realization of balanced distribution of medical resources, and comprehensively promotes the construction of Healthy China. By analyzing and summarizing the research status of financial toxicity in cancer patients at home and abroad, it is pointed out that most cancer patients are experiencing financial toxicity. It is related to the patients' age, income, cancer stage, medical insurance and other factors. Intervening measures should be taken, such as reducing drug prices, timely inclusion of anticarcinogen in the list of medical insurance, strengthening doctor-patient communication and knowledge dissemination, so as to reduce financial toxicity and further improve the theoretical system for reducing the financial toxicity of cancer patients to provide reasonable and feasible suggestions and measures.收起
