OBJECTIVE: To discuss the effect of focusing on the nursing model in preventing upper limb lymphedema after breast cancer surgery, aiming to improve the overall quality of nursing and stabilize its psychological state.METHODS: The case data of 140 female breast cancer patients undergoing modified radical mastectomy admitted to Shandong Cancer Hospital from 2016-09-05 to 2019-06-21 were divided into observation group and control group according to the nursing mode.70 cases in the control group, 2016.09.05-2018.05.31 applied the conventional nursing mode; 70 cases in the observation group, 2018.06.01-2019.06.21 applied the focused care mode.The total scores of self-care ability, total MSSNS score, knowledge of lymphedema knowledge, and time of lymphedema were compared between the two groups.RESULTS: The total score of self-care ability in the observation group after intervention was points, which was higher than the control group points.The difference was statistically significant, t=10.339, P<0.001; breast cancer in the observation group the total score of MSSNS after intervention in patients with modified radical operation was points, compared with points in the control group, the difference was statistically significant, t=17.495, P<0.001; patients in the observation group had lymphedema after intervention.The score of knowledge and cognition was , which was higher than that of the control group . The difference was statistically significant, t=6.663, P<0.005.The lymphatic group of patients with modified radical mastectomy in the observation group had intervention.The time of edema years was longer than that of the control group years, the difference was statistically significant, t=12.731, P<0.001.CONCLUSION: Focusing on the nursing mode can improve the self-care ability and lymphedema knowledge of patients with modified radical mastectomy after surgery, and improve their psychological state, which is worthy of clinical promotion.收起
