BackgroundCryptorchidism, the failure of testes to descend into the scrotum, exposes the testes to higher temperature and external pressure. Scholars from Razi University found through research conducted at different pressure gradients and time gradients that high hydrostatic pressure may lead to sperm apoptosis.
