- The aim of this work is to evaluate the effects of dietary inclusion of mixed plant protein on growth, body composition, blood biochemical parameters, growth hormone/insulin-like growth factor 1, and relative non-specific immune response in Yellow River carp Cyprinus carpio. Five isonitrogenous and isoenergetic trial diets were formulated to replace fish meal at 0 , 25% , 50% , 75% , and 100% mixed plant protein, respectively.
