摘要: A new Schiff base compound,-N'--3,4dihydroxybenzohyd razide-ethanol-water, has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectra, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal belongs to monoclinic, space group P21/n with a = 7.459, b = 18.316, c = 13.638 A, beta = 101.585°, V = 1825.2 A3, Z = 4, mu = 0.104 mm~, Dc = 1.333 g/cm3, F = 776, the final R = 0.0635 and wR = 0.1302 for 3216 observed reflections with I > 2sigma.
