Objective To investigate the relationship between lipoprotein or apolipoprotein B and coronary heart disease in hemodialysis patients. Methods Clinical baseline data of 151 hemodialysis patients were collected, and the levels of lipoprotein and apolipoprotein B were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay . Objective To investigate the relationship between lipoprotein or apolipoprotein B and coronary heart disease in hemodialysis patients. Methods Clinical baseline data of 151 hemodialysis patients were collected, and the levels of lipoprotein and apolipoprotein B were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay . According to medical history and coronary angiography results, these patients were divided into two groups: CHD group and non-CHD group . Multivariate Logistic regression analysis was utilized to screen out the independent risk factors of CHD in hemodialysis patients. Results The lipoprotein level in the CHD group was higher than that in the non-CHD group, without statistically significant difference [ mg / L vs. mg / L, P = 0. 10]. Age , male , diabetes and apolipoprotein B level were all independent risk factors of CHD in hemodialysis patients. Conclusion Besides classic risk factors of CHD such as age, male and diabetes, apolipoprotein B also contributes to the high prevalence of CHD in hemodialysis patients.收起
