- The ability to switch photocurrent polarity from anodic to cathodic modes plays a vital role in minimizing false-positive signals and enhancing detection accuracy in photoelectrochemical biosensing. A novel PEC biosensor employing a 2D/1D ZnInS/InO heterostructure was fabricated, which leveraged polydopamine -mediated photocurrent polarity reversal for ultrasensitive microRNA-622 detection.
